Tolerance – A Demonic Attack on the Family

My Dear People,

The Holy FamilyThe feast of the Holy Family is a stark reminder of the present demonic attack on the family life of the Church.  Christians everywhere are feeling the constant assault on the traditional, dad, mom and children biblical model.  The so called political “tolerance” of our atheistic pagan culture tells us that pre-marital, extra marital, homosexual and similar unions are to be respected and accepted.  Like the dysfunctional relations we find in hell, these models are be hailed as “alternative” way of living; protected by civil law.

This doesn’t even include the assault on the womb through the murdering of the Holy Innocents by cloning and abortion. Jesus came to set us free. There has never been a greater time in human history, when this “freedom” from sin and death, has been so essential.  As we look to the Holy Family for divine intervention, pray prayers of protection over all of your family members. Ask Mary and Joseph to help your family to be sanctified and purified through their holy intercession.  Pray, Pray, Pray!

Entrusting you to the care of Our Lady,
Fr. Mark Bozada

May we be grateful for all the blessings that have come into our lives during the past year; recognizing that God has surely given us more than enough to share.

P.S. – Would you do Courageous Priest a favor and share this info with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or Email right now? We truly appreciate it. Or leave a comment, we would love to hear what you think.

The strength of the family is rooted in the faith of the parents. A strong viable faith filled couple is the corner stone of the family and the faith filled family is the mortar that builds our society and so on up the social structural chain.

In my involvement with marriage and baptismal preparations I have found a gross ignorance of the faith and a complacency among the young of today that is shocking. When you have couples that don’t know the Our Father or Hail Mary or how to make the sign of the cross, what do you expect the future faith of that family will be? For several decades, primarily after Vatican II there has been a watering down of the basic truths of the faith in what I have been able to determine was an effort to be more inclusive, politically correct, ecumenical and less stringent and harsh so that the teachings of the Church gradually became relative to the individual’s sense of what’s right and wrong, according to their conscience.

The result has been an ambiguous “grey” approach to the effects and even the reality of sin and the embracing of a purely sociological and intellectual approach to life. So ingrained has become the secular world’s approach and hedonistic value system in today’s young folks that it’s hard to over come their attitude of indifference and complacency towards the concept of ethics, morals and sin without first finding out it’s source. Margaret is correct, the media and entertainment industries have been a major source of indoctrination in this ideology of evil. It’s a powerful medium with a tremendous potential for great good but unfortunately is and has been corrupt for decades with error and having a down right diabolical influence on society. It’s been gradual and we hardly noticed it happening — and we’re addicted to it. But the Church has failed to stand up to this onslaught of corruption and evil seeking instead to be more politically correct and unoffensive when it should have been screaming in opposition to what’s been going on.

The basic truths of Christ have not changed but we the Church have. We’ve failed to acknowledge sin for what it is. Sinful living is an open door to evil. Whether it be ignoring the teachings of the Church in matters such as humanae vitae, premarital sex, co-habitation, abortion, euthanasia, same sex marriage and the list goes on, all of these being cancerous corridors for the demonic to infiltrate and destroy the family and future families. We have to face these evils and call them what they are and not try to be politically correct and say they are “life styles of choice”. The Church needs to get a back bone. Bishops need to be public, priests and deacons need to preach it and stop worrying about offending.

Christ announced to his disciples that the consumption of his body and blood would be essential to our salvation, and many walked away. We have to be willing to be equally as bold and not worry about the collection plate or whether the truths of our faith are offensive. Until that happens there will continue to see emptying of pews. The young families of today are looking for a frame work to build on. They need substance, a moral brick and mortar that they can rely on. It’s basic, its the truth of Christ unfiltered and not watered down.

Said so eloquently. I asked a priest about why we never hear PREACHING from the pulpit and he answered that we don’t know who is in the congregation and we don’t want to offend. So there it is……………………and drive someone away.

I’m a grandmother of 11 and I have 3 great grandchildren. I’m so blessed to be able to hand down my faith to them. I keep the younger ones at my house quite often and am then able to teach them their prayers. It amazes me how receptive they are to this. Children love to be told about God, Mary and the Saints.

the Catholic church needs to make its position clear on all these vital issues; I am tired of hearing half hearted “sermons” which do not get to the core of the issue. The time is now and clergy need direction on how to present the serious issues;the laiety need more involvemnt at a meaningful level and not just the minimalist policy as is now.The church has the attitude that only they have the authority to foster Catholic Chrisianity; this is silly considering the global demonic attack on Christianity. It is time for full alert as survival of our Church is the real issue.

    HI FR. MARK,

BEING A MOTHER OF SEVEN (TWO IN HEAVEN, I AGREE THAT SATAN’S OBJECTIVE IS TO DESTROY THE CHURCH. IN CONNECTION WITH THAT, I BELIEVE THE MEDIA IS THE LARGEST “SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR” OF SOULS. THE INFLUENCE OF TELEVISION, MAGAZINES, NEWPAPERS, MOVIES AND MUSIC HAS INFILTRATED EVEN THE HOMES OF CATHOLIC FAMILIES WHO ARE TRYING TO LIVE A HOLY LIFE.
    GOD HELP US!
