Honestly Every Catholic Needs to Hear This Before Voting

By Fr. John Lankeit,

Dear Faithful Subscribers,

This is the best homily on voting ever.  To watch the video please click here.

Fr. John Lankeit Money Quotes

“There is a candidate, in this 2016 race for president, who along with that candidate’s political party does, in fact, sanction the killing of blacks and Hispanics in the situations previously described under one particular condition: That that black person or that Hispanic person is still in his or her mother’s womb.”

“One party favors open borders, the other party favors law and order.” . . . But “suppose a candidate for president promoted a policy that would make it legal for someone to kill a Hispanic person if the presence of that Hispanic person made it more difficult to pursue one’s career of choice. How many of you would be comfortable voting for that candidate?”

“God’s mercy is bigger than your sin and your pain. In 10 years of priesthood, I have often been blessed to be the one who gets to welcome back a woman to the merciful embrace of God the Father take her hand and put it back in the hand of God the Father — after she has admitted to, and repented of, her abortion in the Sacrament of Confession,” he said. “A priest in such a situation has the privilege of assuring the woman that she has never for a single moment lost the love of God the Father, nor her dignity as his beloved daughter of that same God, no matter what she did.”

“A priest who is more concerned about the state of his people’s souls than they are themselves deserves the esteem of his people for his willingness to speak such difficult truth to them with genuine love—to put the welfare of his people’s souls ahead of his own reputation, popularity, or comfort,” Lankeit said. “Such a priest should receive respect, admiration, and support, rather than their resistance or criticism.”

“So please pray for, thank and encourage the spiritual father that God has appointed for you and who loves you enough to tell you the truth with those challenging words. Because the priest who said these particular words is your bishop — and my bishop.”

    Fr.
God bless you for the courage to preach on this subject! This needs to be shouted from rooftops so that all Catholics can hear how voting and allowing such a grave evil, endangers their souls. I fear our country and world is due a horrible chastisement! Pray the rosary!!

Thank you Fr Lankeit for the most courageous homily I have listened to in a long time.Of course you speak the truth as Catholics we have a moral duty to protest any form of abortion. To kill a fetus whether at the beginning or the end of a pregnancy is against everything I believe in. And as a practising catholic I will never vote for anyone who is pro abortion. So once again you Fr for the wisdom of your Bishop and yourself for this very inspiring homily, Sincerely Patricia Anne Fast.

Thank you Fr. Lankeit for showing such courage. I sincerely wish we had many more courageous priests who would speak THE TRUTH instead of succumbing to the secular view of “political correctness” or some sort of misconstrued idea of “tolerance”, by skirting around issues of deep importance to our communities at large. THE TRUTH, spoken clearly, strengthens the Mystical Body of Christ. I have forwarded your homily on to friends. May God bless you and your brave, wise Bishop.

Please CAREFULLY read or listen to thr ENTIRE piece, especially the last paragraph and the last line:

“So please pray for, thank and encourage the spiritual father that God has appointed for you and who loves you enough to tell you the truth with those challenging words. Because the priest who said these particular words is your bishop — and my bishop.”

The content of this appears to come directly from Bishop Olmstead, Diocese of Phoenix, AZ, a strong, holy and pastoral Bishop, and orated by Fr. Lankiet. God bless both!

I am 62 years old and have lived through a time when abortion was illegal and a time when abortion was the law of the land. These words are powerful and yet, so very few will take them to heart. Most of us know this to be true and yet know so many of our friends and family who have bought the lie. Let us pray that the scales be removed from their eyes.+

    Dear Brethren,
Thanks for posting the best ever homily regarding voting righteously as faithful Catholics.
For far too long I have not heard the likes of such preaching, in 50 years.

Our Bishops and priests seem to operate out of fear in so many areas, of administration, and the pulpit. One great fear is that of loosing their tax exempt status…and evil bill put into law by Former President Johnson because he felt persecuted by one Baptist Church and its pastor. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind

The sad problem that we deal with is when Bishops and priests
actually believe in the Radical Agenda of the far left..therefore they will not speak out at all against immorality even, The murder of babies in the womb, nor gay so called marriage.
Some like we have seen from the Synod on the Family believe and promote and entirely strange and new Gospel and preach this neo-Gospel with vigor..and few of their peers remind them of the words of St. Paul the Great Apostle to the Gentiles.: anyone, even an angel or even if Paul himself were to teach another Gospel Kick him out, don’t listen ( Paraphrased by me)

    Dear Father Lankeit,

    Thank you for your homily.

You talk about when preaching difficult truths, what about believing the difficult truths? To believe that man was formed from the slime of the earth? Actual 6 Days of Creation? I found out that an astounding amount a priests do not believe that Adam was formed from the slime of the earth as it is written in Genesis the Holy Words Bible the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity being the Author

WHO do you think is behind that? Well I can tell you an Exorcist told me this weekend, it is Lucifer who is behind this lie, this most grievous error.

If priests believe that Adam was formed in the belly of a beast, then Our Blessed Virgin Mary at Lourdes is a liar? She said “I AM the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION” which is confirmed Dogmatic Truth, the ONLY ONE, but yet science(god maybe?) comes out with a “Theory” and that Dogma is optional?
What about the GOD-MAN how does that work? If Jesus took His human form from the Blessed Mother who was a descendant of Adam that would make God’s Human side come from a lower species a beast could that be even possible? So then GOD is a liar also, when He says in Genesis 1: 26 And he said: *Let us make man to our image and likeness: and let him have dominion over the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the air, and the beasts, and the whole earth, and every creeping creature that moveth upon the earth.27 And God created man to his own image: *to the image of God he created him: male and female he created them.**28 And God blessed them, saying: *Increase and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the air, and all living creatures that move upon the earth. How did God pick which ape? Why did only one evolve? Why did they stop evolving? Why are we the only species to change from one species to another?

The most important part of this is, if you believe in evolution and are a priest, is it GOD you believe in or is it yourself? If you believe that the words you say at the Consecration change that wafer into the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ then you believe more in yourself than you do in the Power and Word of God in the Bible. So in essence you believe what you want and throw out what is too hard……hummmmm Sounds a bit like John 6:5353 The Jews, therefore, disputed among themselves, saying: How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Jesus said it and God said it in Genesis and it is confirmed by Dei Verbum DOGMATIC CONSTITUTION that Genesis has to be taken literally and may I suggest to those who quote Humani Generis by Pope Pius XII as it being alright to believe in evolution, please revisit if you have not read the entire Encyclicial re-read it all of it not just paragraph #36 which actually does not say its okay to believe it but actually condemns it in the entire Encyclical. We are at the end of the line here Bishops and Priests you will stand alone just as we will stand alone but there is a grave difference in being “Pridful” and being “Ignorant.”

This is the reason people can kill the unborn, have sex with anyone or anything and most have no moral compass, is because without believing you are special and were made in the image and likeness of God but you believe you evolved from a lower species, a beast, hey why not? satan and his minions love this and yes there is more than one there are choirs just as there are Choirs of Angels for God satan his many of his own that chose NOT to Serve.

As St. Jerome says” Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ” and St. Augustine of Hippo said ‘IF YOU BELIEVE WHAT YOU LIKE IN THE GOSPEL, AND REJECT WHAT YOU DON’T LIKE, IT IS NOT THE GOSPEL YOU BELIEVE, BUT YOURSELF.”

The Secret to Defeating the devil
“… the genius of satan is to deceive the human mind in order to seduce the human will. Memorize that logic. satan knows that all the evil in the world begins with ERROR. Let me repeat. satan knows that all the evil in world begins with error. In other words, all sin in the human heart begins as untruth in the human mind.”

Thank you so much for telling us the Truth. I think of all these dear babies lost to us by deliberate butchery with the sanction of our laws and wonder how long God will hold back his wrath. So much evil, Father, so much evil.

  • Jess Espinosa

We need more Courageous Priests like Fr. Lankeit to speak about issues important to Catholics. I wish I could invite him to speak at my parish here in New York.

  • Lois Manning

God bless Fr. Lankeit!!! May God give us more honest priests.
