Cardinal Robert Sarah: Divine Justice Will Fall…

On Clergy Who Fail To Preach Against Abortion And “Homosexual Marriage!”

By:  Matthew Cullinan Hoffman

Cardinal Robert Sarah is warning that priests who fail in their duty to oppose the breakdown of morality in modern society, particularly pro-abortion and anti-family policies, will receive the condemnation of God.

In a sermon delivered on June 25 to seminarians of the Community of St. Martin, whom he was about to ordain to the priesthood and diaconate, Sarah admonished his listeners, “if we have fear of proclaiming the truth of the Gospel, if we are ashamed of denouncing the grave deviations in the area of morality, if we accommodate ourselves to this world of moral laxity and religious and ethical relativism, if we are afraid to energetically denounce the abominable laws regarding the new global ethos, regarding marriage, the family in all of its forms, abortion, laws in total opposition to the laws of nature and of God, and that the western nations and cultures are promoting and imposing thanks to the mass media and their economic power, then the prophetic words of Ezechiel will fall on us as a grave divine reproach.”

Sarah quoted the prophesy of Ezechiel found in chapter 34:2-4: “‘Son of man, prophesy against the pastors of Israel to pastor themselves.  Should not the pastors feed the flock? You have been fed with milk, you have dressed yourselves with wool.  You have not strengthened the weak lambs, cared for those who were sick, healed those who were injured.  You have not restored those who have strayed, searched for those who were lost.  But you have governed them with violence and hardness.’ (Ez. 34: 2-4)”

“These reproaches are serious, but more important is the offense that we have committed against God when, having received the responsibility of caring for the spiritual good of all, we mistreat souls by depriving them of the true teaching of the doctrine of regarding God, regarding man, and the fundamental values of human existence,” the cardinal added. Cardinal Sarah, who was appointed to the presidency of the Pontifical Council Cor Unum in 2010, is overseeing a radical restructuring of the Catholic Church’s international development aid programs. These have been criticized for a secular mentality that ignores the spiritual needs of recipients, often promoting values that are opposed to Catholicism, including the legalization of abortion and homosexual unions.

In late May, Sarah gave an address to the Church’s largest coalition of aid organizations, Caritas Internationalis, in which he noted a “serious moral regression and gradual ‘silent apostasy’” in the western world. He also noted that foreign aid for Catholics “is not merely philanthropic and humanitarian assistance aimed at relieving a certain kind of distress, but also and above all it entails giving back to human persons all their dignity as children of God, and promoting an anthropology that also encompasses the religious dimension of human persons, namely their encounter with God.”

In his June 25 address, Sarah notes that in modern society “we no longer know what is evil and what is good. There are a multitude of points of view.  Today, we call white what we once called black, and vice versa.  What is serious, and make no mistake about it, is the transformation of error into a rule of life.

“In this context, as priests, pastors and guides of the People of God, you should be continuously focused on being always loyal to the doctrine of Christ.  It is necessary for you to constantly strive to acquire the sensitivity of conscience, the faithful respect for dogma and morality, which constitute the deposit of faith and the common patrimony of the Church of Christ.”

Thank GOD for Cardinal Robert Sara and other clergymen like him! Holy men after my own heart. They are TRUE shepherds of the flock in every sense of the word. But as for the rest, (whoever the glove fits), it could be safely said that they will pay dearly for what amounts to gross negligence!

Cardinal Burke speaks in the old school language I was brought up with and I like the man . But we can’t go back now it’s too late it would only cause mor confusion unless he has had authority from Pope Francis he is totally out of line .

i wish we could print only a small amount, just the words of the Cardinal, so beautiful, and could gove to those who do not have a computer. You used to have that accommodation…with the name of the person you were sending it to, to for self to copy.

When I was in my 2nd year of High School Latin-Greek Humanities in a nun-run boarding school in the 1950″s, we had the ”SPEKPATER’ (type his name in on Wikipedia and you’ll find who he was) preaching during one of our yearly retreat weeks. One day he told us : “For know that there are priests being trained and formed at the KRIM (Russia) to infiltrate the Church, to spread false teachings in order to corrupt and ruin the Church.” This made such an impact and impression on my soul that I will never forget it. Rita Biesemans

In the 1980’s a Church in a Brussels suburb opened her doors to the socialist party to hold their spaghetti feast. They used the church to cook and the altars to eat on. A colleague (in those days) nurse-midwife of mine who was a fervent freemason and socialist told me : ” I put my child on the altar and told her dance on it, trample on it as hard as you can and she enjoyed seeing her do this”!!!!. “Shame on the Judas in our Church who opened the doors for such an event.” But yes as they so proudly said after Vatican II : the Pyramid is turned upside down, before the people=the basis all pointed to the point of the Pyramid, to God. Now we have the basis (the people) up and the point (God) at the bottom.
The purification of the Church and the World has become inevitable. Rita Biesemans
By the way I was not allowed to wear my Cross around my neck but that freemason charge nurse wore proudly her torch with the 6 happy humans around her neck. Nobody said anything, of course not, they could do whatever they wanted. It was awful I cried and cried out to the Lord to take me away from there. He did, I’m here now almost 21 years, and now I see the things deteriorating here. So Sad. BTW : They called me “Miss America” in High School. My parents had so much respect for America and transferred that on their 9 kids, especially on me o:)

Rita Biesemans has something to say to this :
In my last year of nursing school (late 60’s) I had to write a dissertation for Philosophy. Since I’m Jewish via both of my parents (we are Catholic-Jews) I wrote about the facts leading to how we viewed and treated our Jewish pt’s in Antwerp. I interviewed rich and poor, thus a lot of different social levels. One of them was an MD working @ 1 of our hospitals. His father was 33-rd degree mason of the Bnei Brith (jewish freemasons). He was saying :”soon the church bells won’t be allowed to ring anymore. We atheists are offended by being woken up on Sunday mornings by the church bells they remind us of God and Jesus”. Sometime later : NOT A SINGLE CHURCH BELL WAS RINGING !! And it is still like that. I just read that Belgium is providing millions od Euro’s government money to the Islam to build more mosques in that country and they can call to prayer x5 a day and that’s a lot of decibels, I guarantee you.
On another occasion, an MD, [email protected] “Free(mason) University of Brussels”, he being a HIGH RANKED FREEMASON and one of the first in the world performing IVF and CLONING, head of our OB-department,said to me one night (while waiting to do a delivery) : how long are we fighting against the Catholic Church? Almost a 100 years now and I tell you before the year 2000, they won’t speak about the Catholic Church anymore etc… At that moment I heard our Lady of La Salette say : a period of a 100 years will be given to the devil…..Oh yes satan knows he’s coming at the end which makes him like a roaring lion raging all over the world. IN GOD WE TRUST.

    Though I am the Light
    you walk in the darkness
    Though I am the Might
    you follow the barkless

    Though I am the Truth
    you prefer the lier’s booth
    Though I am the Way
you say it’s ok to be gay

    Though I am the Life
    you choose eternal death
Where weeping and gnashing is rife
and for sure there won’t be any Meth

    Oh you stubborn generation
    stop this horrific aberration
You keep flirting with the seducer
so don’t blame Me, blame the abuser

Though I am the utter Merciful
    I’m also the eternal Just
    Your behavior is extremely hurtful
    My patience you finally bust.

Wake up and smell the coffee or it will be too late.
    Lord, please, hasten Your Coming

God Bless you Cardinal Sarah for speaking out against homosexual marriage and abortion. I am so disappointed that our Catholic hierarchy has not spoken out in a unified voice against these evils. We need voices likes yours speaking from our pulpits every Sunday of the evils that have overtaken our society. I once heard this said and it is so true…Satan has tricked the world into believing he doesn’t exist.

  • what a great breath of fresh air and truth from that holy man. it gives hope that there is someone willing to speak the truth and will not bow to political correctness GOD BLESS AND STRENGHTEN HIM

  • This came from another email subscriber.

wow….what a good priest. I would guess he is not an American. The Indian and African priests appear to be more old Roman Catholic as I knew it as a child. I am 65. What a great example of what priests are called to be. God bless Cardinal Sarah.

Thank you to all the “Courageous Priests” (and lay people) who tell the truth even in the midst of today’s relativism. May the Holy Spirit continue to fill us with His gifts.

  • How encouraging to see this.

  • Martin Snigg

    Excellent. Thank you.

P.s. George Cardinal Pell would make a good addition to the sidebar I think.

  • Father Ed Wade,CC

I encourage my brother priests to stand up and be counted

  • Eugene Kelly

This is a great and needed homily that does not restrain in speaking the truth in love for all people. Many people have forgotten or never were never taught what sin is. Jesus loves all sinners and wants to show them His all consuming love and the unimaginable forgiveness of God the Father if we are willing to forgive the ones who have injured us. Jesus accepts people where they are and then they are changed by His love for them, a love that is beyond our understanding, a love that never quits, a love that fills us completely. And after this love comes to us we are given peace and joy, freely offered and given, also beyond our understanding and it also never quits. God shows us, we need only to seek His face.
