Daily Prayer for Priests

O my Jesus, I beg You on behalf of the whole Church ... give us holy priests. You yourself maintain them in holiness.

O Divine and Great High Priest, may the power of Your mercy accompany them everywhere and protect them from the devil's traps and snares, which are continually being set for the souls of priests.

May the power of Your Mercy, O Lord, shatter and bring to naught all that might tarnish the sanctity of priest, for You can do all things. - St. Faustina (Diary, 1052)

Of course, the Eucharist is the Real Presence, Soul, and Divinity of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, so He comes in an event such as this but I sincerely believe we ought to spiritually prepare ourselves for His Second Coming because I so strongly feel it is soon and very soon, though, obviously I do not know the exact moment, as we do not know the day nor the hour. I am no prophet but you know how a person gets a ‘gut feeling’ about something? Well, I’ve had a strong feeling about this since the mid-nineties and it won’t go away. As a matter of fact, with time, it gets stronger. I figure it’s God speaking with me. God bless all of you with His Love and Mercy and fear not because we do have Jesus on our side. With Him we can do no wrong; Satan has no grip on us, so rejoice!!!

As a matter of fact, if Satan comes to remind us of our past, let’s remind him of his future! Praise be to Jesus!!! Heaven awaits us who believe. That’s my ‘peace on earth’. Is it yours? That’s my prayer for each and every of my Christian brothers and sisters. Amen.

  • All Glory to God! Praise be Jesus Christ forever! Thank you, Jesus, for coming to us and remaining with us, especially in our darkest hours! You ARE the Savior of the world!

  • Lois Ann Lachtara

How I praise and thank God that we have priests such as these who are unashamed and unafraid to step out in public and bring the Body of Christ to the streets. Some knelt in adoration….Some walked away. It shows me that we each choose to worship or walk away from the salvation offered in Christ Jesus. God greatly bless these holy men who are unashamed to lay it on the line for Jesus! May God give us all the grace to witness to His love and mercy as these men have. Praise Jesus for those who knelt in adoration and may Jesus call to His Heart those who walked away. How blind we are to His love and mercy! Now, He is among us as Merciful Savior. He will come as Just Judge. Let us pray for those who walk away! May God give us all the grace we need to boldly step out and call JESUS Lord in every circumstance..in every place..to everyone..in all we do and say that His name be glorified in all ways, in every day. in all we do and say until the day of His coming …AMEN

  • I ADMIRE THE COURAGE OF THESE MONKS, BLESSED BE CHRIST IN IN THE BLESSED SACRAMENT!

  • Rosario Cires

What a great example this priest is giving the world! I believe that other priests should imitate what he is doing. Glory be to God! God we praise You, we love You and we adore You! Please save us and save this world.

  • Martin Murray

    HE IS MY GOD!

  • GHL in Georgia

I saw this video when it was first presented. Imagine …adoring the Blessed Sacrament in public !!!
Praise God that the video can be viewed it any time. The message of how Jesus is present in each and every Book of the Bible is wonderfully presented … especially when the entire script is available for reading, copying and reminding us that Jesus IS! I pray that more hearts are opened to Him each time the video is shared and viewed by others. I pray God’s protection and blessings on this holy priest.

  • LOVED THE VIDEO, THANKYOU SO MUCH. WE NEED MORE OF THIS.

Jesus must be adored everywhere- in the streets, in the marketplace, in shopping malls-not just inside the church! And thank God for the forward thinking Capuchins who did a Eucharistic Flash Mob. May there be more such OCCUPATIONS of public places!

  • b r bernardo

May we live His Word every moment of our lives.

  • Janet Jalbuena

Thank you Lord for the real presence of Your Son, Jesus, in the Holy Eucharist. Thank you too for the Capuchin monks who follow in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus.

  • Anieflor S. Ullero

WOW!! The nerve of the monk. He’s not afraid being tagged as IDIOT, CRAZY or anything. I seldom believe in miracles published but this one I feel it in my heart it’s truly a miracle. I am also touched by the action of some people who found time to kneel before the blessed sacrament. Amazing…Lord engrave in our hearts an intense desire to serve and love you through out OUR life AMEN.

  • mila yulo cabunag

As Christians we need to let our love of the Lord be seen. In this world of so much pain, greed and unhappiness we must let our Lord be present in all we do and to NOT be afraid as the Lord says.

The time in this world is truly just the blink of an eye and we need to appreciate our faith and share it with others always. Share your love of Christ with others and as a result they will grow in love and Christ. Thank you to the Capuchins for your love and dedication to Christ – we should all be so brave. What are we afraid of? To be different from today’s society which is full of evil and darkness. I think not. Let’s do the right thing and praise God.

  • nedra

Praise God – I loved it!!

  • Mary

How amazing, how wonderful, Jesus comes once again to His People and yes, some bow before Him and others as in His time passed Him by…..Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do…..The Brother Monk who elevated Your Blessed Presence for the world to see and adore is truly Your Servant as well as the one who Prasied You, He too adored You ….. I was so touched as I watched. Thank you….God bless you, God bless America and Thank You Lord for Your Holy Presence in the Holy Eucharist!..Mary

  • Robin

Prais be to God for this Capuchin and for all priests who bring Jesus to us.

  • Bob

Had to come back again… These Monks remind me of Elijah… When he was the last Prophet of God… When all had turned to Baal under a bad King… Just shows that Jesus is always with us, and is everything the Monks proclaimed…

  • Bob

Tim, what did Jesus do when He was with us in the flesh??

  • Mary Marchand

Wow, that was amaaaaaaaaaaazing! Wish I had been there, applause to those who knelt down in adoration and Awe. It truly was spectacular and exactly what we need today. Praise be to GOd.

  • Elisa

Praise be to God!!! That brought tears to my eye’s! One for the lost souls that just walked away and for the one’s that worshiped knelt before our Savior. Wow…when the clapping started I really lost it! To not reply to this one is to be one that walked away.

  • Lou

My faith had just been refreshed. Jesus loves us so dearly, how can we not love Him back with all our love??

  • Mary G

Loved this posting. I was not raised to be an evangelist of my faith yet in my older years I find the great need to pass on my faith to those who are in need of spiritual guidance. Hopefully those passing by had a good long thought about something missing in their lives…namely Jesus, our Saviour.

  • ERose

Food, clothing, phones, shopping, gadjets, electronics, things and destinations fill our lives: The Bread of Life, Word of God and truth nourish us more than these.
Visible witness, slow us down and open our hearts to love. Bravo and abundant blessing to these men of God.

  • Theresa

Beautiful. We need more visible respect and adoration to our Lord as did our founding fathers. We are One Nation Under God, and in GOD we Trust We need to show it since we are a CHRISTIAN NATION, amen.

  • What a beautiful displlay of love for Jesus who did so much for us. It’s so good to see that there are still people who are not ashamed to show their feelings for HIM in public. How I would love to see this happening everywhere. Our poor world needs Jesus and couraegous people who will praise HIM as this Capuchin monk did. GOD BLESS HIM.

  • Catie

This is charismatic!!! I am so pleased to see this, yet saddend that we do not see more public “surprise” recitatations of the “Word of God”. In our world the “Word of God” has been cast aside only to be overshadowed by the MainStream Media’s “gloom and doom”, and “panic to the people” operandi. This public flash mob reminder of Jesus’s love for all of us was so refreshing to see. I wish I was there in person. It gives people hope, fills them with love, and peace. CONGRATULATIONS to, and Thank God the Capuchins are taking the “lead” in bringing the word of God to the public in this format. Remember, judgement day is coming, stay close to God and fill your hearts with love, be kind to one another, and pray the Rosary often. Prayers will be answered, and miracles do really happen. Have and keep the faith… May God Bless the Capuchins, and all those in Christ Jesus.

  • Grace

Ken, thank you for your response. You encourage me to read writings by the early church fathers and the conversion story of Dr. Scot Hahn because you assume that I have superceded my authority. May I respectfully decline your offer. I don’t need to read about the traditions of men when I have the Word of God, with many conversion stories contained therein. The truth is the truth, and I stand by what I wrote earlier. Once you know the truth, you cannot then go back to a lie. We are admonished to “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” (2 Tim 2:15) The “word of truth” is the Scriptures, not early church tradition and doctrine. As I stated in my prior writings, I started reading the Bible and the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and instructed me what to do. You don’t have to be Moses, or Joshua, or even Peter to hear the voice of the Spirit. Jesus said “My sheep hear my voice; I know them and they follow me”. (John 10:27). Notice he said we are to follow Him, not tradition, not opinion, not anything else. We are to follow Jesus and obey Him. That’s where I stand. May the Lord bless His people abundantly.

  • Felicidad Birch

God bless these couragerous monks; the world is a better place for their willingness to come forth and share our Lord with the world. The video squeezed my heart and brought tears of joy to my eyes.

  • Irene

Dear Lord and Saviour: I ask pardon for those who do not love, believe, who do not honor you…Fatima Prayer…Pour down your graces upon me Lord. Give me courage, increase my faith, never let me be unmindful of your holy presence in my life….I await you in the next life for all eternity…Sing praises to the angels and saints who have gone ahead of me and await my home coming….

  • Tres Gilmore

Praise the Lord! What a wonderful witness of bringing Jesus to the marketplace. The crowd’s reactions are much the same, I suppose, as they were 2000 years ago. Thanks and be blessed!

  • Michele

    Wow,

That is awesome! I’m glad to see this priest is not afraid to take Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament to the streets. It gives people so much hope.

Thank you and God Bless You.

  • Cathy Johnson

Years ago, I participated in a “church without walls” in which we processed to the Cathedral and evangelized. It was really hard to approach people because of the fear of rejection, but when I saw the priest go from person to person, it gave me encouragement and I finally joined him and the others. It was an exhilarating experience. One woman told me that she was a Catholic from Ireland and they didn’t do that. Sadly, we don’t either. We don’t have to go in public like that, but we can share our faith with others and invite non-Catholics and non-practicing Catholics to join us. Prayer is good, but actions are the best! Love Jesus and talk about him. Love him and share him … every day!

  • Julie Silva

Yes, I think this priest is courageous. May God bless him and may there be many conversions. I pray people will return to God.
I couldn’t make a go of this world without Him.
    God bless you.

  • Wallace Goodey

Jesus, our Risen Lord, all honor and parise are to Him. He heals me and guides me. Praise be to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost! I thank Jesus for giving us the Eucharist.

  • Vic Agostinelli

    Praise be to God.

  • Jo

Praise be the Lord for his goodness. Wish we could have more of this show of faith in these modern times.

  • PAULINE SALOIS

wow—in a world that is loosing faith in everything, it is so encouraging to see the hope and belief of the monks and the humble response from some of the people. I love Jesus and believe in his true presence in the Eucharist,I WISHED I HAD BEEN THERE!I came to MY FAITH from going to catholic school, and from reading scripture almost every day.IT IS JUST LIKE OUR LORD TO GIVE US HIMSELF SO WE WILL HAVE THE GRACE AND STRENGTH TO BECOME MORE LIKE HIM…LOVE ITSELF.THE BIBLE ONLY CONFIRMS MY FAITH AND MAKES IT STRONGER.

    GOD BLESS US IN AMERICA,
    PAULINE SALOIS
